Bahay Kubo
For an enjoyable, fun night out why not try the award winning Filipino restaurant, Bahay Kubo. We are located on Bath Avenue, over the Lansdowne Bar just down from the Haddington Road/Shelbourne Road junction. The ambience, food and service are second to none and you will be entertained nightly by Manila Rhythm (an acoustic trio) from the Philippines. Anyone who has been to the restaurant is amazed by their repertoire and their unique version of Bohemian Rhapsody. The prices are reasonable and to beat the recession we have introduced a special menu for €20.00 on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday (not available during December).

Tita Angie Norton opened Makati Avenue Restaurant in early 2008 to cater for the ever increasing and discerning needs of the Filipino Community in Ireland.
Angela had been visiting Ireland since 1985 with her family and came to live here permanently almost a decade later.
Having seen her Kabayan community in Ireland grow from as little as 200 or so residents in 1994 to approximately 12,000 today she believed the Filipino community was deserving of the highest quality authentic Filipino cuisine, warm hospitality and ambience.
With over fifteen years experience in Hong Kong and the Middle East offering similar dining and catering services the opening of Makati Avenue Restaurant brings her experience to your very own door step, your home away from home in Dublin City Centre.
The name, Makati Avenue Restaurant was chosen because of its universal appeal to all Kabayan worldwide. It encompasses the vast cultural diversity of the Philippines from the Capital City Manila to the 142 islands that make-up the Philippine Nation
